DESCRIPTION

The 2027 Line Blend with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings is Will Wesson's signature freestyle ski, a flexy jib stick built for street and park imagination. A reinforced aspen core, twin tip shape, and Carbon Ollieband come together for a ski that presses and butters as easily as it stomps switch. We paired the Blend with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

Carbon Ollieband is the move that sets this ski apart. The carbon reinforcement lets you load up presses and butters without overflexing the ski, so a press feels intentional rather than wobbly. Pair that with the Butter Zone flex pattern and you have a ski that wants to spin and slide.

Who it's for:

Park-focused intermediate through expert skiers who live for street features, rail jams, and creative line choices. Less ideal for skiers who want one ski for the whole mountain.

Highlights:

Carbon Ollieband is the headline construction story, a band of uni-directional carbon laid into the ski to reinforce the press and butter zones. It is not a stiffness add for the whole ski, it is targeted reinforcement that makes the flex pattern more intentional. The aspen core keeps things light and snappy, exactly what spinning asks for, and the Butter Zone Flex Pattern softens tip and tail just enough to make presses easy without leaving the ski sloppy on ordinary park laps. Underfoot there is enough structure to stomp landings without folding. A 98 mm waist can handle some all-mountain duty when you wander out of the park, but the symmetric twin tip shape makes clear this ski was built for freestyle first, with enough substance to survive a full season of street features, urban rails, and resort laps. With a low stand height of just 17 millimeters, the 2027 Tyrolia Attack 14 offers an impressively close connection to the snow, delivering precise power transmission and a confident, locked-in feel. The FR Pro3 toe piece allows for a full 180 degrees of boot release, enhancing safety in a variety of fall scenarios, while the AFS (Anti-Friction Slider) ensures reliable re-centering and consistent release characteristics. Built to withstand hard use, the Attack 14 combines durability with performance, making it a go-to option for aggressive skiers who demand trust in their gear.

Things to consider:

Freestyle ski, not an all-mountain ski. The wider waist gives some versatility, but a soft flex pattern and twin tip shape mean it will not carve like a stiffer all-mountain ski. Skiers looking for a one-ski quiver should look elsewhere in the lineup.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Length runs true for a freestyle ski, and most park skiers land somewhere between chin and nose height, sizing up for stability on bigger jumps or down for quickness on rails.
