The Rossignol Soul Pro is a freeride twin-tip ski for young skiers who are ready to explore the whole resort with confidence. Built around a twin-rocker shape and a wider underfoot platform, it floats easily in soft snow, slashes through crud, and still holds an edge when the run firms up. The lightweight construction makes it easy to swing into turns and forgiving when landings are not perfect, while the freeride geometry encourages drifty, playful skiing instead of locking riders into a single line. The result is a confidence-building junior ski for kids who want to ski freely, take their progression off-trail, and have fun across every kind of terrain.

Who it's for:

Kids ready to take their progression off-trail across every kind of terrain. It's aimed at young skiers with their fundamentals sorted who want to ski freely rather than precisely.

Things to consider:

Wider skis are slower from edge to edge, so firm groomers ask more work here than a narrow junior carver would. The ski also expects a skier who steers with their whole body, which a beginner hasn't learned yet.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Because the rocker pulls the contact points inward, this ski behaves shorter than the number on it. Most juniors land near their own height, though a kid who skis a lot of tight terrain should take the size below and accept a little less float.
