2027 Salomon Wonder Snowboard
The 2027 Salomon Wonder with K2 undefined Bindings is an all-terrain freestyle setup for women who want park range without giving up the rest of the mountain. The board is a directional twin with a medium flex, a multi-radius sidecut, and rubber sidewalls that take the sting out of chopped up or refrozen snow.
Why we like it:
Ghost Basalt Stringers through the Popster core give the Wonder a damp, controlled feel in variable snow. The Royal Rubber Pads earn their keep too, stopping vibration before it reaches the binding.
Who it's for:
Intermediate to advanced women who split their days between park laps and all-mountain riding. The medium flex is forgiving enough for a rider still building her freestyle bag, with enough backbone to push pace on groomers. If the goal is one board for park, trees, and corduroy, it covers that ground.
Highlights:
The Directional Twin outline keeps the stance symmetrical while tuning the nose and tail for the way most riders actually ride. Rock Out Camber puts camber underfoot for grip and lifts the contact points so turns release smoothly. A wood core with Ghost Basalt Stringers, BIAX MD Fiberglass, and 30% bio-based resin keeps it light and lively. Royal Rubber Pads in the sidewalls settle things down in mixed snow, and the Quadralizer sidecut varies turn shape along the edge. Built on K2’s A-Line™ chassis with a 3° canted footbed, the Bedford naturally aligns your stance to reduce fatigue and promote balance. The AT polycarbonate highback adds a touch more support than softer Tweakback models, giving you extra control on steeper runs and through variable snow. The Custom Caddi™ ankle strap and Perfect Fit™ toe strap provide a secure and even wrap, while tool-free adjustment points let you fine-tune your fit on the fly.
Things to consider:
The Wonder leans more all-mountain than pure park, so a rider who never leaves the jib line will want something softer and truly twin. There is no wide in this one either, so bigger boots should check toe and heel overhang first.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Ride your usual size, stepping up for stability and bigger turns when things get fast or dropping down for a quicker, more park-friendly feel underfoot.
