The Ride Peace Seeker is a great choice for aggressive riders who prefer a stiffer, albeit shorter tail in a board. Thanks to the directional and tapered shape to go along with the extra camber, the Peace Seeker loves to be used in powder and soft snow, but isn’t scared of carving deep trenches in the groomers as well. Built with Ride’s Performance core, the Peace Seeker also has their Carbon Array 5 to stiffen the board. These carbon stringers run diagonally over the board on top of the mount plates. By pulling equally on that diagonal plane, the Peace Seeker has a ton of pop and snap to it while remaining light, agile, and floaty for the fresh. Carbon along the sidewalls stiffens that zone as well, providing excellent edge grip and a unique feel on firmer snow. There’s a concave shape to the tail, making it smoother in the fresh snow, but also lengthening the edge contact so that the board holds tight to the turn for an extended period of time. If you’re looking to enhance your everyday riding enjoyment, look no further than the Ride Peace Keeper.

Eric McDonough rode the 147, noting that “it felt shorter with the large amount of rocker in the tip.” He scored it 4’s out of 5 for overall impression, playfulness, quickness, maneuverability, stability, and flotation. 3’s followed suit for forgiveness, torsional stiffness, edge hold, and versatility. Eric “Rode the 147 and it felt very maneuverable. Big rocker nose was great through the slush at the bottom, and the camber under foot gave it great stability on the harder packed section. Better for more intermediate to advanced riders.” The amount of fiberglass and carbon sure make this a stiffer board, and Eric is picking right up on that. On the 151, David Lombardi finds it rides true to size, scoring it a 5 out of 5 for playfulness and 4’s for quickness, maneuverability, flotation, and overall impression. 3’s line the basement for stability, forgiveness, torsional stiffness, edge hold, and versatility. Dave calls it an “Extremely fun board to ride with quick maneuverability. It's a pow day board for sure but can be enjoyed as an all-mountain slasher. Surfy and playful. Great to add to a quiver. More of an intermediate to advanced snowboard but I think riders with less ability could handle it and have a great day on the mountain.” The range of the board is certainly something to be highlighted here.

Also on the 151, Maxx Connolly “thought it would feel short but it did not.” He scored it a top mark of 5 out of 5 for stability, with 4’s for overall impression, playfulness, quickness, maneuverability, and flotation. We see a lowly 2 for forgiveness, showing Maxx’s impression that the Peace Seeker has a pretty business-like back end. He states that it’s “Such a cool snowboard, first impressions are its sleek black graphic and unique shape. Once you're strapped in and moving you can feel how aggressive it rides. This board is meant for pushing the limits. It's very much for riders with a lot of experience. Definitely meant for better conditions and bigger, steeper terrain. I still had loads of fun on it in the corn snow, ripping gondolier linking up the bumps!” Dave Marryat advises that you “Find your peace in the silent trees. This board is a pow missile that loves cranking turns. Resort stash or side country line, drop in and send it. More forgiving than Jakes other board the Berzerker, but still a board for experienced hands.” He was on the 155, noting it was a good length for what it’s meant for. He gave it 5’s out of 5 for flotation, quickness, and maneuverability, so it’s safe to say he liked it in the softer snow and tighter trees.

Thanks to the shape, construction, and profile, the Ride Peace Seeker offers a wide range of performance to advanced and expert riders. The ability of the board to transition between front side groomers and deep big-mountain lines is extraordinary, and our testers all found something to love about the ride. If you’re on the aggressive side and like a board with good feedback and bounce out of the tail, the Ride Peace Seeker should be a strong consideration.
