Returning unchanged, the Atomic Cloud C12 is back on the scene for 2025 and advanced frontside skiers will once again reap the benefits of its high-performance build and race-like technology. This powerful on-piste tool rivals many of its narrower counterparts, offering sharp carving capabilities in a 70 mm waist width. True ex-racers may opt for a more slalom-style ski, but for skilled skiers who spend most of their time on groomers and want a blend of power, sturdiness and agility, the Cloud C12 is incredibly useful and a whole lot of fun.

For construction, the Cloud C12 features a lightweight wood core, which creates a nice foundation that delivers agility and responsiveness. Further enhanced by Atomic’s Revoshock technology, the use of carbon laminates does a lot of the heavy lifting here as far as stability and power. Keeping the ski stable and vibration-free, this dampening system allows you to maintain total control and precision while absorbing any shock and providing energy rebound. Atomic also incorporates Dura Cap sidewalls, which provides exceptional edge grip and energy in the underfoot zone while the tips and tails are lighter, allowing for easier turning capabilities. With just the right amount of race influence, the C12 delivers knife-like carving strength in the middle portion of the ski while leaving enough room for maneuverability and flex.
The Rocker / Camber / Rocker profile of the 2025 Atomic Cloud C12The shape is where we really see the frontside focus, with 100% camber and a long effective edge. At 70 mm underfoot, it’s certainly on the narrow side of the spectrum and with a 110 mm tip and 98.5 mm tail in the 154 cm length, it generates a 13.2-meter turn radius, making clean, round turns. The active camber provides fantastic energy, pre-loading each turn and allowing you to break free naturally. Atomic achieved a nice balance here with the shape and profile, giving skiers a high-quality, traditional frontside ski.
The Atomic Cloud C12 is a highly useful ski that fits the bill for a lot of skiers. The majority of skiers out there find themselves skiing groomers on a given day and this is where this ski makes a lot of sense. If you’re of the expert level and are looking for a lighter but sturdy on-piste carving tool, this is a fantastic option.
