2025 Faction Agent 1X

For taking the path less chosen, the 2025 Faction Agent 1X is the ideal tool for the ultimate backcountry excursion. To add in some stiffness and responsiveness, Faction adds a full carbon weave to the mix, progressing the flex and keeping the weight down. Simple but effective, this straightforward build does an impressive job providing the right blend of lightweight efficiency and reliable feedback. While not as floaty, its shape invites plenty of versatility, allowing it to perform well just about anywhere. Obviously when the snow stake is showing off, the 2X or 3X will suit you better but for any given day, this ski will do the trick. With more width in the shovel than in the tail, you get nice precision and edge grip from the aft of the ski and nice float in the forebody. It also features a moderate amount of camber, giving it a long effective edge and great ski-to-snow contact for firmer conditions. In the 162 cm length, it generates a 14-meter turn radius, which is ideal for a variety of turn shapes, from quick, snappy turns to longer, wider arcs. Far from limited, this ski can take on both the backcountry and resort with confidence.
