We’ve always loved fun and peppy twin tips here, and this ski is no exception. The Atomic Bent 90 returns unchanged except for graphics for 2026, keeping the fun-loving and flexible ski firmly entrenched at the top of the 90mm twin tip segment. While the Bent 100 and Bent Chetler 120 got the updates for this past year, it’s fair to say that it won’t be too long before we see them filter into the 90 and 110. Until then, the 90 continues the tradition of blending all-mountain capabilities with freestyle flexibility. It does it better than most, delivering lightweight performance to the feet of a large swath of skiers. Because of the sizing, ranging from 157 to 184, the ease of use, and the endless versatility, skiers all over the world can take advantage of the well-rounded and incredibly fun 2026 Atomic Bent 90. With new graphics and more earthy tones, this ski is going to appeal to a lot of skiers.

There’s nothing overly controversial about how this ski is made. Built quite simply, with a light poplar wood core, the Bent 90 is somewhat basic in its construction. There’s no frills here in terms of additive materials. They do most of their differentiating with how they shape the build. Atomic uses Duracap construction here, with full sidewalls underfoot and capped portions in the tips and tails. This puts more emphasis on the mid-body of the ski in terms of power while the ends are lighter and more mobile. Additionally, HRZN tech factors into both construction and shape, as they mill down the sides of the tips and tails to create more of a boat hull shape that can displace more snow without widening the ski. As a result, the light weight plays well with the shape to create a very floaty ski at 90 mm underfoot—there aren’t many others that can stack up to the Bent 90 when it comes to softer snow performance. At 1600 grams in the 175, this ski borders on very light. Tester Pete Fox notes that “This is a ski than an intermediate looking to advance skier will love. It’s easy to turn, has decent edge grip, and is fun.” That’s a pretty solid look at the Bent 90 here.

The Rocker / Camber / Rocker profile of the 2026 Atomic Bent 90

The shape is the fun part. By using a profile consisting of 20% rocker in the tips, 10% in the tails, and 70% camber underfoot, the ski is more of a directional twin than anything else. Most skiers will see this shape and style and use it in a primarily non-park application. When you get on the Bent 90 in the bumps and trees, it all makes sense. The profile and shape are very amenable to different turn styles, from short, skidded turns on the groomers to quick and easy ones in the bumps and trees. With a 19-meter turn radius in the 175, this ski falls on the longer side of the spectrum in its class, and that works great for mixing soft snow, hard snow, freestyle, and versatility. Basically, it puts the turn shape in the skier's hands and allows them to make proper decisions about style and substance. This is true freedom of turn, with the agility of the ski standing out with the low swing weight and amenable ends. Tester Phil Mcgrory states that the ski is “Very light and quick and works great on variable snow and hard pack.”

There’s a lot to like about these relatively simple skis. Due to the versatility and available sizes, the Bent 90 is an awesome option for many skiers. If you have an adventurous spirit and enjoy taking the path less travelled, the Bent 90 should certainly be on the list. While there are better on-trail carvers out there that have better grip and stability, there aren’t many skis in this width that float as well or make as much sense on snow as the 2026 Atomic Bent 90. Fun, style, and simplicity converge to create the Bent 90.
