Now in its second year of existence, the 2026 Dynastar M-Pro W 92 is a true all-mountain standout with sophistication and fun. Holding its ground in the all-mountain freeride category, the M-Pro 92 offers a versatile waist width and high-performance build, combining playful maneuverability with powerful stability. Dynastar has widened the playing field by tweaking the tip shape, adding rocker to the tail, and changing up the width sizes. The result is a ski that is more fun, less demanding, and still packs a lot of punch. Overall, it’s rounder and easier to ski with more versatility.

Dynastar has never shied away from using polyurethane in their cores, and that continues into 2026. It all starts with the construction, and in this case, we get upgrades all around from the outgoing E-Pro series from two years ago. It all starts with the Hybrid 2.0 core, which we saw in the E-Cross series last year. Through the use of three different wood layers in a multi-dimensional format, the central sections are joined together through force rather than an adhesive. This not only provides instant feedback but keeps the use of chemicals to a minimum, which is always a benefit. Polyurethane strips are placed on the sides of the core, keeping the ski light and agile while providing exceptional dampening qualities. The other change we see is the move away from the Titanal Rocket Frame laminate and towards H-shaped partial metal. Before, the metal laminate was longer and narrower in the forebody and wider in the tail, giving the aft of the ski a serious, more business-like feel. Now, the M-Pro W 92 takes on a more energetic, maneuverable feel from tip to tail. With this new metal laminate focusing more on the edges of the ski and less in the center, it delivers great edge grip without feeling overly demanding. Tester Lauren Morton notes that this is her “favorite of the M-Pro series. It’s a good all-mountain ski that’s approachable and fun. It’s forgiving enough for intermediates and up.”

The Rocker / Camber / Rocker profile of the 2026 Dynastar M-Pro W 92

This ski has a very round and circular shape and profile from tip to tail, with much more mobility out of the tail and greater turn initiation in the shovel. This is due to the more dramatic sidecut dimensions. In the 170 cm length, the measurements are 127/93/117 mm, which changes from 118/88/108 mm in the previous iteration. In the tail, we see less of a strictly directional profile and more rocker, which allows the skier to release from the tail with greater ease and more energy. The previous model definitely had you feeling pretty locked into your turn from the tail, so this is a welcomed change for less aggressive skiers. We don’t see a change in the turn radius, 16 meters in the 170, but it feels turnier because of the new shape. Tester Kerry Douglas-Pearce states that she “felt very confident on these at varying speeds and making both large and small turns as well as on the bumps. These would be great for groomed trails and on-piste as well as powder and trees.”

I’d own these! I love these!

As a carryover model, the 2026 Dynastar M-Pro W 92 is going to get another chance to wrangle in intermediate through expert skiers and take hold of their willingness and desire to make multiple turn shapes and styles through various terrain and snow conditions. This is a great ski to go between bumps, trees, and groomers with stability, quickness, confidence, and power, allowing for exceptional performance for a huge range of skiers.

Thoughts
I didn’t find the ski to be too energetic. Would do well on nice soft groomer or I’d like to see how it performs on a fresh dusting.
I’d want the tip to be a little bit more damp.
Overal Impression
I found it to grip the snow well so I felt confident in a turn but it was pretty chattery, especially in the nose, especially on firmer snow
