2026 Rossignol Arcade 94 W

Rossignol’s Arcade 94 W is a strong and capable carver that has the width necessary for softer snow and more variable conditions and terrain. These skis now have fully replaced anything in the Experience line, providing a strong on-trail character to go along with off-trail versatility. Arcade, in general, is known for having more of a traditional shape and style and falls more to the front side for the width. These skis have minimal taper or rocker which accentuate a long and prominent camber profile. This delivers clean and smooth energy to the ski but does sap some of the creativity from a playfulness perspective. Overall, this is a crisp turning 94 built for strong skiers who do a lot of on-trail skiing.

Built with a thick poplar wood core, the Arcade 94 adds a titanal beam to the mix. The thickness of the wood core is the main culprit here for stiff flex and strong performance. When you get this ski up on edge, it does take a lot of effort and energy to get it to come around. There’s so much ski underfoot that it does feel demanding. Rossignol also uses their Line Control Technology strip through the center to keep the ski on its intended course and they also incorporate a Vibration Absorption System and Air Tip to the shovels of the ski. In the 170, this ski sits on the scale at 2000 grams per ski, putting this as one of the heftier models around.

In addition to being on the heavy side, it’s also fairly unique when it comes to shape and profile. This is kind of a throwback footprint, with a mid-90's waist and more of a front side and carving style. With measurements of 138/94/127 in the 170, the Arcade 94 produces a 14-meter turn radius. This is pretty short, so given the build and weight, the shorter radius puts this ski on a different level than most. When combined with the stiffer flex, it does make the ski generate some serious angles as long as it’s provided with enough power and pep. It’s not terribly quick or agile since the ski lacks taper and rocker—it's very much a front side shape and style. With high positive camber underfoot, the energy is found here, but it doesn’t make it as mobile as some more freeride/versatile skis.

As a result of the blend of flex and style, this is more of an advanced and expert ski. It takes some work to get it to carve, and if you adhere to the 14-meter arc, you better be ready for the next turn to start right away—these skis are very responsive and prefer to be used in linked carving turns. While not awesome in the bumps or the trees, Arcade 94 W does handle itself quite well in crud and chop.
