For this year, the K2 Omen 85 is a carryover model bringing the same shape, profile, construction, and graphics as last season. We get measurements of 111/86/106 in the 159 cm length which produce a 16-meter turn radius. When skis go up and down somewhat drastically in length breaks, as the Omen 85 does, we do get vast differences in turn radius per length. Take note if you are getting the 149—these will have a shorter radius than 16 for sure. With a 5 mm taper drop from tip to tail, skiers are getting a balanced ski that will work great in the air and on the rails. This follows the format of a modern and adult-based twin so there’s no real dropoff in the type of performance that these skis are capable of.

Young skiers who need something to progress will love the capacity of the Omen 85. If you’re an emerging park skier looking for a well-built, real-deal ski, the K2 Omen 85 is a great option. While limited in sizing, the skis more than make up for it in durability, style, and symmetry.
