2025 Blizzard Anomaly 102 Skiswith Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings

New for 2025, the Anomaly 102, paired here with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings, is Blizzard's widest offering in their high-performance all-mountain lineup. While it fills the same niche as its predecessor, the Anomaly 102 enhances the on-snow experience with reduced feedback for a smoother and more supple ride. It still delivers impressive performance, featuring two strategically layered sheets of titanal that provide a strong, responsive, and powerful experience for even the most demanding skiers. We paired the 102 with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

The Anomaly 102 occupies a unique position as a smooth and powerful directional ski, bridging the gap between big mountain freeride and all-mountain versatility.

Who it's for:

Advanced and expert skiers seeking a wider, directional ski will find the Anomaly 102’s power, performance, and versatility highly appealing.

Highlights:

The Anomaly line is entirely new for 2025, and while the 102 draws performance traits from the Cochise, its construction results in a more approachable ski. It offers exceptional high performance with greater versatility compared to its predecessor. Although the Anomaly 102 retains the power and speed of the Cochise, Blizzard’s innovative use of banded titanal sections throughout the ski provides a more supple feel, allowing skiers to easily vary their turn shape for a more user-friendly experience. With a low stand height of just 17 millimeters, the 2027 Tyrolia Attack 14 offers an impressively close connection to the snow, delivering precise power transmission and a confident, locked-in feel. The FR Pro3 toe piece allows for a full 180 degrees of boot release, enhancing safety in a variety of fall scenarios, while the AFS (Anti-Friction Slider) ensures reliable re-centering and consistent release characteristics. Built to withstand hard use, the Attack 14 combines durability with performance, making it a go-to option for aggressive skiers who demand trust in their gear.

Things to consider:

Despite its friendlier demeanor, the Anomaly 102 remains a robust and powerful ski best suited for advanced to expert skiers. If you prioritize playfulness and agility, you might prefer a softer, more forgiving ski.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The Anomaly 102’s design allows for sizing down to enhance maneuverability without significantly compromising power or stability. For optimal top-end performance, sticking with your usual size is recommended.
