DESCRIPTION

The 2027 DPS Pisteworks 94 with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings is a precision-engineered, carbon-fueled frontside ski designed to deliver race-inspired precision without the weight of metal laminates. With a 94 mm waist, low rocker profile, and long effective edge, it offers confidence-inspiring edge hold, rebound, and energy on firm snow. Whether you’re laying trenches on corduroy or opening it up on steep, hardpack pitches, the Pisteworks 94 brings elite-level carving power to the resort. We paired the Pisteworks 94 with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

This ski is all about energy and technical precision. The carbon chassis delivers lightning-fast response and edge hold, while still feeling smooth underfoot. For expert skiers who love to push the limits of carving, it's hard to top the Pisteworks 94 for grip and energy.

Who it's for:

Ideal for advanced to expert skiers who charge groomers and love the feel of a directional ski that responds instantly to input. If you're a technician at heart who values rebound and grip more than looseness or freestyle flair, this ski is for you.

Highlights:

A progressively tuned turn radius (18 to 20 meters depending on size) allows for clean GS-style arcs, while the full carbon layup keeps the ski quick and energetic. The recycled Carbon Power Plate adds muscle underfoot for better edge contact and energy transfer, without adding unnecessary bulk. With only 27% rocker and three-quarters effective edge, the Pisteworks 94 keeps you locked in through the turn, offering the kind of power and control that frontside purists crave. With a low stand height of just 17 millimeters, the 2027 Tyrolia Attack 14 offers an impressively close connection to the snow, delivering precise power transmission and a confident, locked-in feel. The FR Pro3 toe piece allows for a full 180 degrees of boot release, enhancing safety in a variety of fall scenarios, while the AFS (Anti-Friction Slider) ensures reliable re-centering and consistent release characteristics. Built to withstand hard use, the Attack 14 combines durability with performance, making it a go-to option for aggressive skiers who demand trust in their gear.

Things to consider:

The Pisteworks 94 is not built for float or surfy skiing—it’s tuned for hard snow, speed, and strong technique. Lighter or more playful skiers may find it a bit too serious for laid-back cruising or softer snow days.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Skis true to size. For max stability and top-speed confidence, go with your longer length. For a quicker, more agile feel and enhanced turn initiation, especially in tighter terrain, consider sizing down slightly.

Anything else you want to tell us about your experience on these skis?
This is an outstanding ski. The turn shape was a thing of beauty. It’s nothing I ever experienced before. The ski had the DPS binding, which included a race plate underneath elevated the boot and allowed you to get more extreme angulation. It’s soft, smooth, quick turning and I have to say it again, the turn shape was Nirvana.
