DESCRIPTION

The 2026 Fischer The Curv GTX is Fischer’s premium frontside weapon, engineered for skiers who crave precision, stability, and real race pedigree in a more versatile all-day format. With its refined shape and carbon-infused build, the Curv GTX delivers razor-sharp handling without feeling punishing on long bell to bell days.

Why we like it:

It has the edge grip and poise of a race ski, but adds enough versatility to keep things fun and fluid, even when the terrain isn’t perfect.

Who it's for:

Ideal for expert skiers and former racers who want high-octane frontside performance in a ski that doesn’t demand flawless form to unlock its full potential.

Highlights:

Fischer’s Radical Triple Radius sidecut and World Cup tuning bring serious cornering power, while the Diagocarbon and Carbon Bridge laminate add torsional strength without unnecessary weight. The Shaped Ti construction and beech/poplar core ensure a damp, stable platform at speed. At 76 mm underfoot and with a medium turn radius, the Curv GTX bridges the gap between slalom agility and GS stability, offering one of the most refined carvers in Fischer’s lineup.

Things to consider:

While more forgiving than a true FIS ski, the Curv GTX still prefers active input—cruisers or casual intermediates may find it more ski than they need.

Fit & sizing considerations:

These ski true to size.

What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?
A fun carver. Enjoyed them most with mellow turns (conditions definitely played a role). Stable ski. For slush it's just not the ski, would like to take this back out on some better groomer conditions.
For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?
Groomers, harder packed snow.
What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?
Advanced.
If you could change anything about these skis, what would you change and why?
