DESCRIPTION

The 2027 Armada AntiMatter 92 with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings is the ultra-versatile all-mountain and frontside shredder of the new AntiMatter Series. Real freeride construction sits under a tighter, trail-ready waist, and the payoff is composure at speed, range across conditions, and a rear end that never goes dull. We paired the Antimatter 92 with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

What stands out at this width is how decisively the 92 holds a carve. Metal in the layup quiets the ski and plants it mid-turn, and a spring-loaded tail launches you toward the next one, the kind of behavior you expect from a pure carver rather than an all-mountain ski.

Who it's for:

This is a ski for hard-skiing experts who want freeride bones under a frontside-tilted all-mountain shape. Groomer specialists who rack up the miles on firm and broken-up trail, yet occasionally want permission to leave it, are the people it was built for.

Highlights:

The headline on this 92 mm platform is Speedmetal Titanal, a shaped metal laminate that quiets vibration and locks in edge hold across firm and variable snow. Armada keeps it from feeling muted by building over a Poplar core, which sends energy back through a tail that stays awake at the end of every turn. Rocker is handled by the All-Mtn profile, lifting the tip for soft snow while keeping the tail flatter to preserve edge contact and stability on trail. Rounding out the build, All Mountain Edges and a carbon-infused Comp Series Base manage durability and glide, while AR100 sidewalls keep the steel biting as conditions harden. With a low stand height of just 17 millimeters, the 2027 Tyrolia Attack 14 offers an impressively close connection to the snow, delivering precise power transmission and a confident, locked-in feel. The FR Pro3 toe piece allows for a full 180 degrees of boot release, enhancing safety in a variety of fall scenarios, while the AFS (Anti-Friction Slider) ensures reliable re-centering and consistent release characteristics. Built to withstand hard use, the Attack 14 combines durability with performance, making it a go-to option for aggressive skiers who demand trust in their gear.

Things to consider:

Despite the all-mountain billing, the titanal layup and rocker profile bias this ski toward the front side relative to its wider AntiMatter siblings. If most of your days are soft-snow days, or you want a more freestyle-flavored ride, the AntiMatter 100 or a wider ARV is the better call.

Fit & sizing considerations:

This ski measures honestly, making your standard all-mountain size the right pick.

Would describe myself as a freecarver (Freeride skier at heart with a love for carving). Any excuse to go drops, cliffs, jumps, spins, etc., I will take. But also very much enjoy pure carving on skis that many would consider far too wide to carve on.

Pico, VT - Smooth firm snow, kind of granular but didn't peel away too much. Ideal for this ski.
Did this length feel short, long, or just right? Would you recommend sizing up or down, or does it ski "true to size?" Would you choose this length for yourself?
Just right.

What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?
I have been a HUGE fan of the previous Declivity 92 Ti, and the Antimatter is more similar than it is different. Just a little less metal with the Antimatter. Having slightly less metal made the tips more forgiving and easier to hook up which made them more turny and dynamic. This thing is just so versatile and intuitive. Want to go slow and make skidded turns, go right ahead. Want to go fast and lay trenches with full confidence, heck yeah, send it. For me, they hit the sweet spot that I want in a carver. The 92 mm waist lets you stand on them with everything you got without sinking or loosing torsional stiffness. They aren't the most precise because of that, but I like to make powerful carved turns over precise carved turns. The Anitmatter does that extremely well while also being insanely versatile in an all-mountain format. I would own a pair in a second.
For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?
When you think of all-mountain, to me this is exactly what I think of. Mostly on trail carving and shorter skidded turns with the ability to get weird in the trees or moguls.
What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?
Advanced to expert due to the stiffness.
Anything else you want to tell us about your experience on these skis?
The dark horse of the ski market. You can put just about anyone on it and they can appreciate what it is capable of.
