2027 Elan Ripstick 94 W Black Edition Women's Skis
SKU ADEMMU26The Ripstick 94 W Black Edition takes the Carbon Deck platform and adds Elan's Quadrod system and C-Ply carbon reinforcement, delivering the most powerful version of the women's all-mountain Ripstick. It's built for skiers who want the energy and lightweight feel of the Ripstick line paired with real damping and authority underfoot.
Why we like it:
The added carbon shows up most where it matters: through choppy snow and at higher speeds. The ski stays planted and composed in conditions that would otherwise make a lighter ski feel jittery, and it does it without putting on the weight of a metal build.
Who it's for:
Advanced and expert women skiers who want a versatile all-mountain ski with more muscle and damping than the standard Ripstick offers. Best for stronger, more aggressive skiers who like to push the pace.
Highlights:
Carbon Deck Technology is the construction across the Ripstick line, and the Black Edition adds a couple of significant upgrades on top of it. The Quadrod system uses four carbon rods running through the body of the ski instead of two, dramatically improving torsional rigidity and edge precision. C-Ply carbon frame reinforcement adds carbon strategically through the frame for a stronger overall structure. The Tubelite woodcore is still the foundation, which keeps the ski from feeling heavy despite all the added structural work, and Flax fibre takes care of vibration damping. The Amphibio profile blends rocker on the outside edge for easy initiation with camber on the inside edge for real grip, and SST slanted sidewalls keep edge transmission direct. It all adds up to a ski that feels significantly more composed than the standard Ripstick 94 W without losing what made the original work in the first place.
Things to consider:
This is a more demanding ski than the standard Ripstick 94 W; skiers who want easier handling and a more forgiving feel will be better served by the standard version. It's also still non-metal, so the absolute upper limits of damping aren't here, but they're closer than you'd expect.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Skis true to size. More aggressive skiers can size up; lighter or more conservative skiers can size down.
