DESCRIPTION

The 2027 Head Oblivion 94 with Marker Squire 11 Bindings lives in all-mountain freeski territory. A Sandwich Twintip Construction, durable Tuff-Wall and Tuff-Edge protection, and the PNP Rocker profile combine into a versatile twin-tip that tackles park sessions, groomer laps, and the occasional powder day with the same playful attitude. We paired the Oblivion 94 with the Marker Squire 11 because of the Squire’s high performance and dependability for lighter weight all mountain and freeride skiers. With a light weight construction and a safe, reliable release, the Squire 11 is a go to choice to keep performance high and weight low.

Why we like it:

The Independent Suspension System is the sort of feature you never notice working but would miss in a heartbeat. It damps the tip and tail selectively, so the contact points stay calm through chatter while the middle of the ski keeps its flex and life underfoot.

Who it's for:

Strong freeskiers after a do-everything twin-tip. It suits skiers who split their time between the park, the rest of the mountain, and the occasional storm-day side hit, and want one ski that covers all of it.

Highlights:

A fully sandwiched Twintip Construction gives this ski the edge grip and response to hold its own on firm snow, paired with a true twin-tip shape for switch riding and park laps. Tuff-Wall and Tuff-Edge reinforcement adds the durability that rails, drops, and switch landings demand. The Independent Suspension System damps the contact points, keeping the tip and tail composed without leaving the whole ski feeling dead. Finally, PNP Rocker is the playful rocker-camber-rocker profile that pivots easily in tight terrain while still holding an edge. Marker’s Triple Pivot Light 2 Toe and Hollow Linkage Heel systems work in tandem to provide powerful energy transmission to the ski, allowing for maximum edge grip and control of the ski. Lighter weight skiers can rest easy knowing the Squire 11 will be easier than ever to step into thanks to a re-designed heel piece. Perhaps the most underappreciated feature of the Squire 11 is the anti-ice rail, which sits on top of the toepiece and can be used to scrape the sole of your boots clean before stepping in.

Things to consider:

It's a twin-tip freeski first and a carver second, so anyone wanting a frontside-leaning all-mountain ski would do better in the Kore line.

Fit & sizing considerations:

These ski true to size.
