With more surface area, the 1956 handles softer snow and chopped-up afternoons more comfortably while keeping the same on-trail precision. The construction stack is identical: Karuba Woodcore for lightness and pop, Double Titanal for damping and edge grip, Full Race Sidewall for direct power transmission, and Hollowtech 2.0 Carbon in the shovel for both visual signature and weight reduction. The Double Steel Edge in the topsheet is the standout craft feature, and it gives this ski genuine durability at the topsheet edges where most skis get beaten up first. With a 16.3-meter radius at the 173cm length, the 1956 has a longer turn shape than the Wedler, which fits the wider waist.
