DESCRIPTION

The 2027 Line Chronic 101 with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings is the wider Chronic for all-mountain freestyle ripping, a versatile twin-tip platform with real durability behind it. An aspen veneer core, Bio-Resin construction, Thick-Cut Sidewalls, and a Thin Tip make this ski tough enough for whatever the mountain throws at it. We paired the Chronic 101 with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

Beefed-up sidewalls and reinforced tips and tails are the headline durability story. This ski is built to take the abuse of all-mountain freestyle skiing without losing its snap or feel after a few months of heavy use.

Who it's for:

Advanced and expert all-mountain skiers who want freestyle creativity in a wider, more versatile platform. Skiers who like to mix park laps and off-trail adventure into the same day will find a happy home here.

Highlights:

Thick-Cut Sidewalls reinforce the edges where most freestyle skis show wear first, and that is the defining choice on this ski. An aspen veneer core gives it a snappy, alive feel, Bio-Resin bonds everything together for long-term durability, and Thin Tip technology in the shovel cuts swing weight without sacrificing toughness. A 101 mm waist is wide enough for soft-snow duty without giving up on-trail manners, while the symmetric twin tip outline lets you ride switch and play with terrain whenever the mood strikes. The rocker profile stays moderate, forgiving in variable snow yet cambered enough underfoot for real edge contact on hardpack, and the turn shape comes in quicker than the width implies, which keeps the ski agile in trees, bumps, and tight terrain. With a low stand height of just 17 millimeters, the 2027 Tyrolia Attack 14 offers an impressively close connection to the snow, delivering precise power transmission and a confident, locked-in feel. The FR Pro3 toe piece allows for a full 180 degrees of boot release, enhancing safety in a variety of fall scenarios, while the AFS (Anti-Friction Slider) ensures reliable re-centering and consistent release characteristics. Built to withstand hard use, the Attack 14 combines durability with performance, making it a go-to option for aggressive skiers who demand trust in their gear.

Things to consider:

Freestyle-leaning at heart, so skiers who want a pure carving ski should look at the Optic line. This waist also tilts toward storm days more than groomer-only days.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Lengths run true and standard recommendations apply, though skiers who like to ski switch and play with park features can drop one for quicker swings.
