2027 Nordica Enforcer 99 Skis
The 2027 Nordica Enforcer 99 with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings returns with fresh graphics over the construction Nordica overhauled the year prior. This is the heart of the Enforcer line, an all-mountain ski pairing a poplar and beech wood core and an elastomer Pulse Core between two layers of titanal with a generously rockered shape. It holds an edge the way Enforcers always have, then releases out of a turn and pivots through bumps and crud noticeably more easily than past generations. We paired the Enforcer 99 with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.
Why we like it:
Pulse Core is the differentiator. Two sheets of metal in an all-mountain ski can feel locked in to a fault, and the previous-generation Enforcer was no exception. Slipping an elastomer layer between the wood and one of the titanal sheets fundamentally changed how this ski rides: still planted at speed, but hard-snow chatter gets eaten before it ever reaches your feet, and it cooperates when you want to back off.
Who it's for:
Advanced and expert skiers who want one ski for everything. Beginners and true intermediates should look elsewhere, because this one rewards solid technique and an active stance. If you ski every condition the mountain offers in a single day and would rather not think about which ski to grab, here is your tool.
Highlights:
Nordica's benchmark all-mountain shape has only been sharpened by the current build. Beech goes into the strength-critical zones of the core for edge-to-edge response while poplar runs through the middle to keep swing weight reasonable, and a 99 mm waist puts the ski squarely in one-quiver territory. Two layers of titanal sandwich that wood, with the Pulse Core elastomer strip sitting between the upper sheet of metal and the core, and that single change is what gives the new Enforcers their cleaner, smoother ride. The profile is generously rockered with a notable amount of tail rocker, the other big change from the older platform, and it leaves this ski far more willing to smear and pivot on request. True Tip construction extends the lightweight wood into the shovel and trims out heavy ABS, which lowers swing weight and keeps the ski from feeling like a tank. With a low stand height of just 17 millimeters, the 2027 Tyrolia Attack 14 offers an impressively close connection to the snow, delivering precise power transmission and a confident, locked-in feel. The FR Pro3 toe piece allows for a full 180 degrees of boot release, enhancing safety in a variety of fall scenarios, while the AFS (Anti-Friction Slider) ensures reliable re-centering and consistent release characteristics. Built to withstand hard use, the Attack 14 combines durability with performance, making it a go-to option for aggressive skiers who demand trust in their gear.
Things to consider:
Substantial is the word. Skiers after something light, quick, or particularly playful will find the 99 to be more ski than they need, with the Enforcer 94 easier to handle and the Unleashed 98 far more lively within Nordica's own range. And while the new construction is more accessible than it used to be, this remains a ski that wants driving; you have to stay on top of it to get the best out of it.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Lengths run true, so ride whatever you normally ride, moving up between sizes for a bit more stability at speed or down for a quicker, more playful feel.
