Built with a wood core and a lower binding system, the skis are built and shaped to adjust to a lower center of gravity without sacrificing edge grip or carving performance. By recessing the mid-point of the ski to a lower height, Nordica is placing more value on a natural stance and a quick edge to edge performance. While this is going to be great for beginner and intermediate skiers looking to improve, these skis likely won't have the chops to satisfy the needs of the higher-end schussers of the world.
