The Nordica Wild Belle 78CA is a fantastic choice for intermediate skiers who strongly prefer the art of the carved turn. Thanks to the shape, profile, and construction of the ski, ladies who spend most, or all, of their time on groomed terrain will love the grip, engagement, and strong finishing kick to the ski. As a new addition for 2022, this Wild Belle 78CA is pretty quick and easy to turn from edge to edge, and it makes it simple for skiers who are looking to lay down some clean turns.

Built with a wood core and a lower binding system, the skis are built and shaped to adjust to a lower center of gravity without sacrificing edge grip or carving performance. By recessing the mid-point of the ski to a lower height, Nordica is placing more value on a natural stance and a quick edge to edge performance. While this is going to be great for beginner and intermediate skiers looking to improve, these skis likely won't have the chops to satisfy the needs of the higher-end schussers of the world. That's okay, though, because here at SkiEssentials.com, we believe there's a perfect ski for everyone, and that ski is likely not the same for you as for someone else.

Louise Lintilhac was on the comically short 162 cm length, and it's really only funny because if you look her up in big mountain competitions, she's on substantially larger and more powerful skis. It's always fun to see what these types of skiers think about something that's not really their style. About the length, she notes that "they're super-short, but that's kind of the point." Certainly, as most skiers who are getting on this ski are going to be using it at slower speeds and on mellower terrain. She scored the ski mostly 3's in categories such as overall impression, versatility, torsional stiffness, edge hold forgiveness, playfulness, quickness, and maneuverability. Louise honestly notes that "Ok, to be fair, this ski is an entry level ski. Not for me but would be great for ladies looking to enjoy slow smooth turns all day on the mountain. Its light weight makes it easy on the knees and hips and at low speeds it’s just what the doctor ordered on sunny days when cruising is on tap." And there's nothing wrong with that!

Fun, light, and fond of cruising, the new 2022 Nordica Wild Belle 78CA is a great choice for beginner and intermediate skiers who spend most of their time cruising the greens and blues. While capable of some higher-end skiing, they're really more comfortable on the smooth stuff, but in that realm, these skis are some of the best in the business already.
