Balanced, poised, and easy to use, the K2 Dreamsicle is a fantastic all-mountain ladies board that can hold its own on a variety of conditions and terrain. Ideally suited for in-bounds use by intermediate riders, the Dreamsicle packs a pretty sophisticated punch into a user-friendly ride. The Rhythm core is the brains behind this operation, built mainly with aspen wood while using light weight paulownia in the tips and tails in order to reduce swing weight and increase turn initiation and completion properties. The Aspen does a great job at keeping the board both nimble and stable, and it works quite well for a lot of different riders looking to maximize their fun levels over the course of the day. K2 then adds their ICG 10 Carbon Glass laminate which blends a fiberglass layup with 10 vertical carbon stringers. This stiffens the overall flex of the board and increases the responsiveness, giving the Dreamsicle a high-end feel that riders of varying degrees of ability will love. Adding to the fun-loving nature is the relatively flat profile to the board. It’s pretty darn flat underfoot, with the tip rocker being low and long while the tail rocker is shorter and more abrupt. This gives the Dreamsicle a surfy, yet directional feel for a variety of snow types and terrain.
