In the women’s Freestyle Twin category, the Rossignol Diva is a high-performance machine that loves to be pushed to the limit. Ideally suited for advanced and expert riders who know how to carve a board, the Diva has a great blend of attributes that make it one of the most well-rounded boards on the market today. With centered inserts and a flex rating of 7 out of 10, the Diva maintains a nice and balanced feel but on the high-end of the flex range. This provides a wonderful blend of top performance edge grip and confidence with a playful and fun-loving personality. It pairs well with Rossignol’s Amptek Elite camber, which adds a ton of energy to your turns, seemingly adding more energy than you are putting in. With 70% of the board cambered, the Diva has quite strong feedback for riders who are comfortable getting deep and low with their carves.

On the 152, Adrianne Morrison-Taylor found it to be a perfect length for her, noting that it is the size she normally rides. She gave top marks of 5 out of 5 for playfulness, quickness, and maneuverability. Overall impression, torsional stiffness, edge hold, and flotation all got 4’s so there’s a nice and high spread of scores going on here with Adrianne’s experience on the Diva. Adrianne notes that “The Diva is a slam-dunk all-mountain board, and my board of choice. I can't beat the confidence Diva's edge-control offers, while still getting great pop and twin versatility. Perfect for the retired park-rats like myself, who still love to pop 180s at all chances and hit an occasional rail or booter while mostly ripping groomers or glades. Recommended for intermediate to advanced riders, and not a board to miss!” A lot of riders like to hold on to the feel of the glory days, and for Adrianne, this Diva is a time capsule of sorts, harkening back to the park days and those feelings of freedom and playfulness.

Caitlin Kelly was also on the 152, scoring it 5’s out of 5 the whole way through. That’s impressive for a board, and it’s great that Caitlin has found a lot to like about the board. She calls it “an absolute blast to ride! A directional all mountain board that would be perfect for any intermediate to expert rider. This board would rip in powder but also carves so nicely on daily groomers.” That blend of freestyle, all-mountain, and high-performance is a great combination for any board, allowing those who love to make a variety of turn shapes and sizes.

If you’re the type of rider who likes to carve deep trenches in the snow and leave clean lines in your wake, the Rossignol Diva should be atop the list. This board has a tremendous range for higher-end riders who like to push the limits, and it does so without abandoning its fun-loving personality, and that’s a very good thing for a board to have.
