For an unbeatable blend of value and performance, look no further than the Arbor Poparazzi Rocker system snowboard. Ideally suited for an intermediate to advanced lady rider who’s looking to spend most of their time in the resort, the Poparazzi Rocker floats great, has amazing pop (as the name suggests), and a tremendous value for budget-conscious individuals. Thanks to the construction, shape, and profile, the Poparazzi Rocker loves to play and have fun no matter what the day or conditions may provide. Built with a highland core, sintered base, biaxial fiberglass laminates, and 360-degree fully-wrapped sidewalls, this board has a whole lot going for it, and for riders looking to take their day to the next level, the Poparazzi Rocker is just the stick to get you there. It’s fast, smooth, and glides quite well no matter the conditions or terrain, making it a fantastic option for riders who are looking for one board and one board only for all day stoke.

Slightly softer than most, at Arbor’s rating of 4 out of 10 in stiffness, the Poparazzi Rocker can hold its own under strong riding, but is also flexible enough to articulate to the pilot’s whim, allowing for complete and total control of the edges and the sidecut. In terms of profile, the rockered system allows for greater flotation and easy turn initiation and completion. In addition, Poparazzi becomes a whole lot more drifty when it’s rockered, giving more emphasis to the rider’s preference of turn shape and style. Rosalie Wright-Lapin found her 147 cm test length to be a bit short, as she’d likely size up for herself. She gave the Poparazzi Rocker 5’s out of 5 for quickness and maneuverability, with 4’s for stability and overall impression. We see 3’s for versatility, torsional stiffness, edge hold, forgiveness, and flotation, leading to a well-rounded grouping of scores. Rosalie states that she “really liked this board. It was very stiff which surprised me at first, but it rode really well. Not playful but very reliable and responsive. It could ride on any terrain but better on hard snow.” The stiffer feel is likely due to the shorter length of the board—not really allowing proper flexion for Rosalie to access the sidecut and get the required playfulness out of it.

Caitlin Kelly rode the 147, and unsurprisingly found it to be short for her. She did note that it rode true to size, so that’s a good thing for sure. She scored it 5’s out of 5 for overall impression, versatility, forgiveness, playfulness, quickness, maneuverability, and flotation with 4’s for stability torsional stiffness, and edge hold. Caitlin states that “This board is a great all mountain board. It is on the softer side which makes it perfect for an intermediate rider who is looking for a playful board. You will have a great time ripping some groomers, take it to the park or enjoy some side country. It also has a great price point!” It’s always interesting to see two different riders have different takes on the flex of a board, and these two did not disappoint.

For a wide range of riders, the Arbor Poparazzi Rocker has a lot to offer and checks a lot of boxes. From front side carving and on-trail performance to powder surfing and park prowess, the Poparazzi just does it all well. Thanks to Arbor’s dedication for quality and comprehensive construction in a collaborative format, the Poparazzi will hold a special place in your heart for years to come.
