The K2 Manifest does a very effective job of blending a freeride mentality with a freestyle personality. While the board leans more to the big mountain, resort, and powder side of the spectrum, it’s still got a fun-loving character that can be accessed by more experienced riders. Built with K2’s new A1 core, the Manifest blends powerful underfoot zones with lighter tips and tails for optimum swing weight and maneuverability.

The mix of Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia in an Aspen-dominant format gives the Manifest a smooth and solid feel. The Bamboo underfoot aids in strength while the lighter Paulownia in the tips and tails makes the board super-quick from edge to edge. K2 then adds Triaxial Fiberglass laminate with 20 integrated carbon stringers. By adding carbon to the fiberglass mix, it makes for a stiffer and more responsive ride. In addition to that carbon, K2 also uses their Carbon Dark Web that drastically increases transition speed, pop, and stability. It’s a well-built board for sure, and when you factor in the half-inch setback to the mix, this board comes to life quickly, easily, and with a ton of power.
The K2 Manifest features a rocker/camber/rocker profile that allows for fantastic flotation in fresh, deep, and soft snow while retaining the on-trail grip and energy that the camber profiles. With a flatter and longer profile in the nose, the Manifest is able to float and surf easily into the fresh while the shorter rocker in the tail makes it easy to swish around and maneuver the board through tighter spaces, trees, chutes, and other technical zones.
The K2 Manifest checks a lot of boxes for advanced and expert riders. It has quite a bit of carbon to the build, and that makes it one of the more responsive and precise boards in its class, but the fact that it has more of a directional freeride shape allows riders the ability to charge fast and hard down any type of hill they can find. The sophisticated build combines well with the progressive shape to make the Manifest a unique board with a tremendously playful character and personality.
