The 2026 Atomic Bent 100 gets a graphic update, and it's certainly a bit of a departure from normal, now back to more earthy tones. From a performance standpoint, the Bent 100 has been an incredibly useful and versatile performer for a whole lot of skiers, and that will continue into the future. In addition, the redesigned Bent 100 also brings some new skiers into the mix—mostly those that were slightly fearful of the ski’s lighter weight and more flexible nature. While the ski isn’t a rock-solid 100 mm underfoot charger now, it does feel planted and capable without losing the fun and creative character. This ski is still light and mobile, making it a fantastic all-around ski for those who like to mix on and off-trail activities. Bent 100 has a truly capable feel to it, and while there are better carvers out there at this width, there may not be many others with this much range. If skiing is all about fun, this is a top earner.

Unchanged structurally from last year, Atomic does not overcomplicate things with intricate constructions. The 2026 Bent 100 still uses a lightweight poplar wood core, a thicker edge for durability, and Dura Cap Sidewalls to increase mobility without jeopardizing underfoot grip. HRZN tech allows for greater flotation without increasing width. This seems to be a positive move in the right direction as sturdiness was lacking in the previous iteration. All told, the build of the ski generates a stated weight of 1700 grams in the 179 cm length. Tester Eli Mozkowits notes that “This ski surprised me. I skied the Bent 90 last ski test and was not a big fan, I felt it was a little twiggy and un stable. The Bent 100 was a lot better, it had a great mix of being light and playful and still having good support. This may have been because I skied a longer length, but I liked this ski.” The fun is the big part here, and based on feedback from other testers, this theme carries through. It’s got a nice blend of easy use and fun-loving performance.

The Rocker / Camber / Rocker profile of the 2026 Atomic Bent 100

Minor changes continued when it came to shape and profile last year. We also saw some differences in the profile, as the shape stays mainly the same. You can add HRZN 3D to either build or shape and you would not be wrong. The profile, though, we see more tail rocker than before, adding to the freestyle capabilities. So, a sturdy wood core for stability, and more tail rocker for increased playfulness. Brad Schauermann also notes these changes and how they affect the ski: “Very easy to pivot. Fun and surfy feeling and easy to smear. Also, more than capable of holding an edge and carving trenches.” It’s the blend of pivoting, surfing, and trenching that appeals to most of us, and Brad’s picking right up on it. We also like the sizing, with the 179 and 186 appealing to a broad audience and the fact that the 158 is added makes a huge difference. In the 179, the ski produces a 19-meter turn radius which is a perfect mix for the ski’s intended effect. Also with a new graphic, this opens the ski up to a broader audience.

Forgiving ski with a poppy and playful fell yet still carves well.

The Bent 100 will work well for a huge number of skiers. Based on the sizing, flex, and upper-end capabilities, there’s an enormous skier range here. From smaller intermediates to larger experts, the Bent 100 has a very broad audience. The ski is accessible and fun for those looking to explore the farther reaches of the resort. At the same time, it’s a capable park ski, tree ski, bump ski, and on-piste ski. While carving is a thing that it does, it’s not the main focus. Skiers looking to carve on this should have sharp edges and a good skill set. Other than that, it’s all good when it comes to the Bent 100. Fun, versatility, and sleek design are all strong points here.
