The 2026 Liberty Scope 94 W gets a new graphic for this year, as well as some “year 2” tweaks to make it a bit more supportive for more aggressive skiing. Thi is the same ski as the men’s version, there is only one width option available compared to four for the men. An ideal spot to be for all-mountain performance, the 94 W offers fantastic versatility and impressive edge grip, with lightweight maneuverability for off-piste terrain. While stronger carvers and more playful performers certainly exist within this mid-90s category, the Scope 94 W finds a nice balance to deliver playfulness and stability with freestyle flair. Equally at home in the park as it is in the bumps, the Scope 94 W is a very creative ski.

The Scope 94 W uses a blend of light poplar wood in the core to go along with a phenolic plate underfoot. Underfoot, Phenolic Composite plates are used to stiffen the mid-section of the ski. Positioned horizontally, they serve as both binding retention, as well as increased underfoot stiffness and responsiveness. Keeping the ride smooth and consistent, high-carbon race bases keep the ski gliding nicely, even in untracked conditions. We get ABS sidewalls to increase the smoothness and keep the sound levels low. Tester Allarie Sullivan calls them “Super smooth and sturdy while soft and playful. Definitely wanted to take more runs on them. Light and poppy but holds the edge really well.”

The Rocker / Camber / Rocker profile of the 2026 Liberty Scope 94 W

From a footprint perspective, the returning mold of the Scope 94 W is all about fun. The shaping approach for the Scope 94 W leans into the freestyle arena while staying pretty firmly in the all-mountain department. At 94 mm underfoot, versatility is off the charts, with a good amount of surface area for soft snow conditions, especially when you factor in the shape. Still narrow enough for on-piste stability and edge grip, the energetic camber underfoot is matched with early taper and decent rocker to invite playful maneuverability as well. With a shape like this, it's best to stay centered on the ski so as to reap the most benefits. Though not perfectly symmetrical, it's close enough that it performs well in the park, as well as in the bumps and trees. Lauren Morton calls it “surprisingly stable but also responsive and snappy.”

Surprisingly stable but also responsive and snappy.

The 2026 Liberty Scope 94 W is designed and build for intermediate to advanced level skiers who value quickness and energy but with reliable strength for on-piste performance. Not too serious and not too loose, this happy medium promotes a fun-loving demeanor that encourages all-mountain versatility in a daily capacity. When you add the freestyle and slopestyle component to the mix, it brings the Scope 94 W into the forefront of modern freeride skis.

Thoughts
Not as versatile as some other 94s.
I’m not exactly sure.
Overal Impression
Felt sluggish on and off the edge, much better though as the pitch increased.
