For 2026, the Line Pandora 85 gets a graphic update but returns otherwise unchanged. With a narrower footprint and a nimble shape than the wider Pandoras, the 85 can go back and forth between on and off-trail activities seamlessly. By sharing the same construction as the wider Pandora 92, the 85 gets a sturdy underfoot zone with lighter and more active tips and tails. This goes a long way in providing the type of all-mountain versatility that the Pandora lineup is known for. Line does a fantastic job at making fun skis—that's the basic premise of their company. By keeping a ski like the Pandora 85 in the lineup, they’re marketing towards progressing skiers who want both adventure and comfort at the same time with no compromises. It’s a great value, as well, for skiers who are looking to purchase their first pair.

The Line Pandora 85 doesn’t come with a lot of complications. Built with an aspen wood core, the Pandora 85 is light and quick. Companies like Line and K2 build most of their skis with aspen, and these two brands also have a very fun-loving reputation. It must not be coincidence, then, that this wood is used in entertaining skis like the Pandora series. Line also uses bio-resin as an adhesive in the ski. Whenever you can use a more environmentally friendly product and keep the performance the same, that’s a winning combination. The big thing here is that Line plays with the thickness of the core with specific intent. The underfoot zone in the middle of the ski is considerably thicker than the core at the ends. This leads to a playful and progressive flex pattern that emphasizes fun and creativity on the hill. With a wide span of lengths, ranging from 147 to 175 cm, these skis have a broad appeal for many skiers. With a 1670 g/ski weight in the 175, the Pandora 85 highlights just how versatile and useful a lightweight ski can be. Tester Fletcher Rosario-Ojeda states that “This ski made me happy! I learned to ski on Line Invaders and actually broke them after a burly season, and these took me back to those days of shredding, hitting mogul fields, and bombing downhill. I'd even practice in the park with these. So fun! Very responsive!”

The Rocker / Camber / Rocker profile of the 2026 Line Pandora 85

Skis in the mid-80's are great choices for those that spend most of their time on-trail but still want some adventure built in. When it comes to shape, the all-mountain oriented Pandora 85 can seamlessly skirt between front side and all-mountain skiing with ease. It’s not too long ago that an 85 mm underfoot ski with tip and tail rocker would be considered a mid-fat ski great for powder. Now it seems like an 85 is a good starting point for off-trail skiing with a solid platform and balance point to stand on. While the Pandora 85 is a lot less rockered than the wider skis in the line, there’s also quite a bit more camber. This builds energy into the ski and plays a bit part in the pop and grip that this ski provides. When paired with a short 14-meter turn radius in the 175, the Pandora 85 is a crisp turner that loves to be on edge. While the ski won’t provide endless stability at speed, it’ll certainly provide a ton of engagement and entertainment. Rosario-Ojeda continues to classify the ski as great for “All mountain, bumps, groomers, park - light, poppy, playful, twin tips are great for freeride, very forgiving and not tippy.”

This ski made me happy! So fun! Very responsive!

Due to the light weight and ease of use, there’s a big audience here. Skiers who don’t want to think too much about what they’re getting but know that a well-rounded mid-80's ski is on the list should take a square look at the light and fun Pandora 85. Most skiers spend most of their time in an on-trail and groomed format, so it makes sense to align your skis with that application. If you like making short and quick turns in a variety of snow conditions and terrain, this Pandora 85 should be high on your list.
