2025 Elan Ripstick 100 W Skis
Overview:
Some exciting news from Elan, the Ripstick 100 W receives some performance-enhancing upgrades for the 2025 season, making an already fantastic ski even greater. Increasing the overall level of responsiveness and degree of power, Elan carries forward the majority of the construction attributes while introducing new technology to further enhance the flex pattern and high-performance characteristics. The Ripstick 100 is more rewarding and better than before, believe it or not.

2025 K2 Reckoner 102 W Skis
Overview:
The K2 Reckoner is back with a slightly different build, inviting more of a freestyle demeanor into the chat. This ski has been a go-to for park and freeride skiers as it oozes playfulness and creativity. The one characteristic that has been potentially lacking though is the level of durability. That’s why K2 put a heavy emphasis on enhancing the overall composure and level of strength for the 2025 season. While the construction remains mostly the same, there are some notable updates that have increased the solidity of the ski. In addition to the triaxial fiberglass wrapped aspen wood core, we also get carbon boost strips to the central portion of the ski. Adjusting the overall stiffness, carbon spectral braiding is incorporated, with looser braiding in the forebody and tail and stiffer underfoot. New tips and tails featuring a thicker core profile ramp up the durability as well. Shape wise, we do get more of a directional profile in the 102, however it still boasts a near symmetrical shape, allowing for endless freestyle performance. Highly useful and packed with strength and playfulness, the Reckoner 102 is better than ever.

With tweaks to the tail shape, deeper rocker and more significant splay create quicker feedback and easier turning capabilities. Without losing any degree of power, the Santa Ana 102 is a top tier, wider-bodied all-mountain ski with a balanced, responsive feel and plenty of force.

Overview:
Hard-charging females who want a powerful, burly ski that requires skill and strength to drive, the Volkl Secret 102 is your ski. Continuing its legacy as one of the higher echelon skis within this category, the Secret 102 is an expert level ski with performance similar to a race ski but in a wider-bodied platform. Skiers with a need for speed, power and precision will love the sturdiness and high-performance ceiling, allowing the ability to charge down the fall line with total confidence and security. While the reward is certainly worth the work, it’s definitely meant for a skilled skier who can control a heavier, more aggressive ski. We do see a healthy amount of metal here, with a tailored titanal frame that runs along the sides and around the tip and tail, providing exceptional edge grip and precision but at the cost of the weight. Keeping the ease of turn initiation and off-piste capabilities high, Volkl incorporated tailored carbon tips to create more torsional stiffness and responsiveness without upping the bulk too much. All in all, this ski is a high-risk, high-reward type situation and if you're ready to put in the work, it will deliver.
