A new model for the Rossignol frontside category, the Nova 10 brings a whole new approach to on-piste performance, with a sophisticated design and race-inspired technology. Designed for skilled skiers looking for a carving ski with enough versatility to go off-piste, the oversized sidecut and wider shovel is paired with positive camber and a 75 mm waist width, leaving you with the right amount of edge grip and maneuverability. Since most of us spend the majority of our time on-piste, this ski makes a lot of sense for a lot of skiers. While advanced level skiers will find its sweet spot, the proven shape and profile will allow intermediates a solid tool for enhancing technique and gaining confidence.

With a race-inspired construction, the high-level of performance encourages slalom-style turns at moderate speed. This is great for carving enthusiasts looking to leave a mark on the trail or for speed demons relying on stability and grip. Starting the build off with a PEFC poplar wood core, dampness and stability are established right away. Reinforced by a titanal beam, the degree of power is significantly enhanced, increasing edge grip, rebound and energy through the length of the ski. As a way of fine-tuning the flex, V-profile technology is incorporated in order to optimize each layer of material and boost the overall performance. Carbon alloy matrix reinforcements are added to increase longitudinal and torsional stiffness throughout, maximizing the amount of energy and power. What is particularly impressive about the build is that the weight remains manageable while also keeping the ski planted to the snow.

The Rocker / Camber / Rocker profile of the 2025 Rossignol Nova 10

For the shape, it’s plain to see where this ski belongs and that is squarely in the frontside category. That said, Rossignol utilized the oversized sidecut to broaden the applications a bit. Not only that, but it opened up the audience as well, which is always a good thing. The deeper sidecut combined with the 75 mm waist width provides high edge angles, as well as effortless maneuverability. With a wider shovel and slight tip rocker, turn initiation feels easy and smooth, while variable snow conditions do not hinder performance. Generating a 12-meter turn radius in the 163 cm length, the Nova 10 prefers making nimble, energetic turns in short to medium arcs.

For an everyday ski that shines on groomers but performs well in tight terrain, the Rossignol Nova 10 combines an accessible yet sophisticated build with energetic, responsive behavior. If you spend most of your time in an on-trail capacity and want to carve with poise and precision, this ski checks a lot of boxes.
