This is an outstanding ski. The turn shape was a thing of beauty. It’s nothing I ever experienced before. The ski had the DPS binding, which included a race plate underneath elevated the boot and allowed you to get more extreme angulation. It’s soft, smooth, quick turning and I have to say it again, the turn shape was Nirvana.

I found these to be a bit chattery and not as responsive as I like.

Interesting foray into piste skiing for DPS, but I think there are other in piste skis at similar price range that perform better.

Not for me. Soft frontside ski is just not something I'd ski.

Seems like a good ski for slow groomer skiers.

Intermediate frontside skiers might like this since I assume its approachable.

They had good pop on rollers since they are soft.

Stable ski that likes to go fast. Not as stiff as a metal ski but damp. Not super playful but light enough that they were fun in some firm bumps. They flew on a firm groomer.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

Advanced skier that wants to carve groomers in the morning and ski some bumps in the afternoon.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

Advanced skier that wants it all.

Start out on the early morning groomer and play on the bumps and crud in the afternoon. Ski holds an edge well and is wide enough and light enough to play throughout the whole day.

These are really good. I’m very impressed. They rip and they’re so light, it’s so counter intuitive. Feels like you’re floating! Really easy to bend into shorter arcs. Super cool. Would be a blast in bumps too. Great shape for that.

Take it anywhere! A truly versatile all mountain ski.

Intermediates could ski it and do just fine. It’s a weapon for an expert.

Skied at Stowe on really hard surfaces one day and then through softer bumps and trees.

This ski felt just right in terms of length. I wouldn't go shorter, and it's light enough to be used in bumps and trees at this length.

What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?

These skis have an impressive blend of performance, light weight, and stability. The carbon really takes the precision and power of the ski to the next level while the agility is just off the charts. This ski is super impressive in all facets of all-mountain skiing.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

This is truly an all-terrain ski, but I must say, it's one of the best mogul skis I've been on because it's both flexible and supportive in addition to being very quick for the width. Really confident in the trees and tight spots, and also just rips carved turns on groomers.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

I do think this ski will work best on the feet of someone who will appreciate the mix of flex and power. There's no real reason why an intermediate couldn't ski this ski, but I certainly think an expert will get the most out of it.

It's pricey for sure, but I can't think of many other skis that can do what these skis can do.

If I'm being aggressive, I'd want longer, but for an intermediate advanced skier at 6'1" this should be enough.

They held an edge better than expected. Not quite as playful as I initially had expected with the carbon core, but it was solid and predictable.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

Groomers, the steeper the better. Once the edge is engaged, they hold really well.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

High end of advanced up to full expert. You have to know how to engage and hold an edge to really appreciate what this ski is built for. They're not going to be fun if you're not trying to carve trenches.

If you could change anything about these skis, what would you change and why?

A little more pop going from edge to edge. I expected an advanced level carving ski to make me regret getting backseat when transitioning from edge to edge. Very forgiving, but I think being more active from side to side would make it more exciting.
